1. Pin hair as flat and as tight as possible before taking the measurements.
2. Round your measurements up no t down. Example: 12 3/4 should be rounded up to 13 and 12 1/4 should be rounded up to 12 1/2.
Note: If you are bald or do not have a hair line - you do not need to add the inch - simply put the tape measure where you would like your hairline to begin with the wig. The averages below are just examples. Not everyone will meet these measurements - some may be under or over and that is perfectly fine.

3. Ear to Ear Across Front Hairline

4. Ear to Ear Over the Top
Measure from hairline directly above the ear across top of head to the hairline directly above the other ear. (Average measurement is 11 inches).
5. Temple to Temple Around Back
From temple to temple across the back of head. (Average measurement is 14 inches).

About Usage:
How to sew in weft hair extensions? Weft can be put into your hair in several ways. You can glue in weft tracks, or have the weft braided into your hair. Some people prefer to have weave sewn into their hair because it will last the longest. Here is how to do: 1. Wash, dry and comb your hair so that all knots are removed. 2. Create a horizontal part across the back of your head about 2 to 3 inches from the nape of your neck. Clip the rest of your hair away. For a natural look, make the parts on the back of the head just below the crown of the head and all the way down to the neck. Make thin, tight cornrow braids with your natural hair following the parts. Do not braid so tightly that you pull the scalp. 3. Thread your needle in the same manner as you would thread a needle for sewing fabric. 4. Line the weft of a hair extension against the cornrow closest to the neck on the back of the head, starting at the far left of the cornrow. 5. Sew on the weft of the hair extension from left to right, by moving the needle under and over the braid as if you were stitching a piece of fabric. 6. Cut off the remaining weft when you have reached the end of the cornrow. 7. Work your way from the neck to the top of the head, sewing on each hair extension to each cornrow from left to right and cutting off any extra weft at the end of each cornrow. 8. Leave your extra hair clipped up and trim the weave and style it. Remove the clip from your natural hair and style it in place to combine your natural hair with your weave.

Remy Hair Care Can I shampoo and condition my hair extensions? + Yes, because our hair extensions are 100% human hair it is highly recommended that you wash and condition them as you would your natural hair. When selecting a shampoo or conditioner for your hair extensions, be sure to read the ingredients. Avoid any shampoo or conditioner with sulfates, silicone, artificial colors and fragrances. Select shampoos and conditioners that are gentle, detangling and moisturizing.
Can I reuse my hair extensions more than once? + Yes, our 100% Virgin Brazilian Remy hair extensions can last up to 12 months. Many of our customers take down their hair extensions, wash & condition them, allow them to air dry and then reapply them.
Q. Are your hair extensions human hair or synthetic?
A: Our hair extensions are made from 100% Human hair, so they are thick and shiny and very high quality.
Q. Can I dye /color the hair?
A: Yes. The hair can be colored. As a general rule it is easier to darken the hair than to lighten the hair. We recommend to dye darker , not lighter. Since the hair extension has been processed and colored, it is difficult to fade the original color. Improper dying will ruin the hair. We highly recommend having your hairdresser dye the extensions as you will get the results you want, coloring them yourself always poses a high risk of not coming out the shade you want. If you can't get to a salon, always use a good quality hair dye and test a small sample first.
Q. Can your hair be straightened, curled?
A: Treat the hair as if it is your own. Use a flat iron/straightener or tongs, even when fitted, but as with your own hair, never use hot tools too often as you could dry the hair and it will not last as long.
Q. How do I wash my hair extensions?
A: Wash the hair in one direction. From top to bottom, avoid washing hair upside down in the sink. Use shampoos and conditioners that are for dry hair and add the most moisture. Wash hair right after swimming. When brushing your hair, start from the bottom and work your way up while holding the top part to keep it from shedding or streching.
